Acts 20:28

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance” (Psalm 33:12)
The context of this Psalm was written, referring to the nation of Israel. Let’s be reminded that God has blessed us too as Americans! And this week, we are reminded that we, as Christian Americans, owe a debt we can never repay for those who came before us as our forefathers sought the blessings of God for this great country. The cry today in every home and every heart should be "God Continue to Bless America.” As we celebrate our Independence Day, let’s remember our need to depend on God and to pray for our country (especially our leaders) that eyes, ears and hearts are open to follow Almighty God, that He might once again bless our nation.

Psalm 33:12 “A Blessed Nation”

Psalm 34:6-8: This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
