pastor's update

"Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood."

Acts 20:28

weekly message

“I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:1-3)

These words are God’s promise to Abraham when He told Abraham to leave his home to go into the land where God wanted him to be. Abram (later named Abraham) left the land of Ur to Haran and then to the land of Canaan. God told Abraham that he would be made into a great nation and that nations would be blessed because of him. Through the descendants of Abraham, came Jesus. Having a relationship with Jesus, people throughout all these generations have been and will be blessed beyond measure.

Genesis 12:1-5 “Abraham, Father of Many Nations”

Word of Encouragement

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.  2 Corinthians 4:16-18
